Shunthi promotes digestive fire and is beneficial in aamvata or rheumatoid arthritis. It promotes digestion and is pungent in taste and light in effect. It contains aromatic oil and promotes oily secretions in the body. Easy to digest,shunthi pacifies vata and kapha. Shunthi/sonth acts as a mild laxative.

Dosage of Shunthi Churna

• Adults - 250mg to 1 grams twice daily after the meals with lukewarm water or milk or as directed by the physician.
• For Children -125 mg to 500 mg twice daily after the meals with lukewarm water or milk.
