Action of Ingredients in Allens Laxil Drops

Nux vom: Constipation with Incomplete passage of stool. Sensation as if lump left behind. 

Senna: It is said to have a good laxative effect, hence used to aid the constipation complaints. Senna is used to relieve the colic complaints felt in the children.

Hydrastis can: Hydrastis is useful in complaints of constipation, wherein enemas dont act and the remedy helps to excite the rectum so that stool can be passed.  

Opium: Colic, with constipation in children, constrictive pressure at stomach.

Magnesium Mur: Hard, difficult, slow and insufficient evacuations.

Plumbum met: Most obstinate constipation, stools blackish, Continued and ineffectual want to evacuate feces.

Natrum mur: It is useful in resolving the contraction of the rectum during stool, that results in hard feces at first evacuated with the greatest exertion, 

Alumina: Stool hard, peristaltic motion of the intestines.

Dosage of Allens Laxil Drops

Adult: 10-15 drops 3 to 4 times a day with luke warm water or as directed by the physician.

Children: Half the adult dose or as directed by the physician. 

Precautions while using Allens Laxil Drops

Always keep a gap of 15 minutes before or after meals when you take medicine.

If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a homeopathic practitioner before use. 

Avoid eating tobacco or drinking alcohol during the course of medication.
