• To cure constipation, soak the powder in water for an hour, filter and drink it.
• To cure jaundice, Mix the shikakai powder with kali mirch, tamarind pulp, and salt. Eat double daily with rice.
• To treat skin disorders, boil shikakai powder in water and apply the paste on the affected area.
• To treat bad breath and gum infections, boil shikakai powder in water and gargle with it.
• To get rid of dandruff, boil shikakai powder in water for around 10 minutes and apply it on the scalp.

Shikakai uses:-

• Skin disorders, itching, and psoriasis, pimples - Boil Shikakai powder (1 tbsp) in water (1 cup). Cook for few minutes and apply on affected areas.
• Bad breath, Gum infection - Prepare gargling solution by boiling Shikakai powder (1 tbsp) in water (300 ml). Gargle with this solution frequently.
• Dandruff - Boil Shikakai powder in water. Cook for ten minutes and use this for washing hairs.
