</ul><p><strong>Method of usage:</strong><br />
Combine 4 cups water,1 cup lentil,1 cup eggplant, turmeric, and salt in a pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistles. Add remaining 2 1/2 cups water, tamarind paste, and fat2fit sambhar powder to the pressure cooker, once the pressure is released. Combine oil, dried chilly, curry leaves, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and asafoetida powder in a small saucepan over low heat. Transfer spice mixture to the pressure cooker with the lentils. Season with salt.<br />
