Yes, not only babies,  it’s the same with adults too.  We have all seen babies in supermarkets who bang their legs and being adamant to ask for chocolates and cookies. The end result is always pockets of chocolates and cookies with added preservatives getting into our shopping bags. We are here to save the day with our simple recipe of crispy and chocolaty cookies that include the purest form of chocolate, multigrain and dates.

Sounds yummy isn’t it?  It’s not only yummy but also healthy.

Chocolate Multigrain Cookies prove to be the best healthy chocolate flavored treats as it can be easily made at home in just 10 minutes. The cookies are sweetened using dry dates powder from Little Moppet Foods which is 100% natural, organic and preservative free.

Step 1

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. Grease a baking tray or line it with a parchment paper.

Step 2

Meanwhile, sift the chocolate multigrain health mix.

Step 3

Add dried dates powder to it.

Step 4

Mix well.

Step 5

Add cold ghee and work it with the flour using finger tips until the mix resembles bread crumbs.

Step 6

Add just 1-2 drops of milk, if required to combine it to a dough. Do not knead, just gather.  

Step 7

Pinch out small dough portion and roll between the palms to flatten it.  

Step 8

Gently press a cashew nut at the center of the cookie dough.

Step 9

Make all the cookies in a similar way and arrange on a greased baking tray with enough space between each cookie.

Step 10

Bake the cookies for 15 minutes at 180 degree Celsius in a preheated oven.

Step 11

Allow the cookies to cool down completely on a wire rack before transferring them to an airtight container. The cookies are a bit soft while hot and will crumble easily. So be gentle while handling them when they are hot. They will harden on cooling.
