Polymenorrhea

Patrangasava can be used to manage menstrual complaints like heavy bleeding and short menstrual cycles. However, it should not be used in the management of irregular menstrual cycles. It is helpful in treating polymenorrhea, a condition characterized by too frequent menstrual periods and shorter menstrual cycles. It can also be used to treat menorrhagia, in which women experience heavy menstrual bleeding. This medicine regularizes the menses and reduces the frequency of menstrual cycles. It can also reduce pain in the lower abdomen occurring during menses.

Polycystic ovarian disease

Patrangasava can be used in the treatment of polycystic ovarian disease especially in the cases where women develop heavy bleeding with shorter menstrual cycles. This condition occurs due to the imbalance of hormones and is accompanied by symptoms like excessive weight gain, Hirsutism (growth of hair on the lips), and acne.
