Dysmenorrhea or pain during menstruation is one of most common complaints among females of age group 13-40 yrs.  Its usual onset occurs around the time that menstruation begins. For most women, the pain usually starts shortly before or during their menstrual period, peaks after 24 hours, and subsides after 2 to 3 days. The pain is usually in the pelvis or lower abdomen or may radiate to the thighs and lower back. Other symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

Indications:

Painful menstruation associated with backache, nausea & vomiting.

Action of ingredients:

• Cimicifuga racemosa: Menses with backache.
• Magnesium phosphoricum: Menstrual colic, pain precedes flow.
• Viburnum opulus: Spasmodic and membranous dysmenorrhea. Heavy aching feeling or excruciating cramps in pelvis.
